Arriving in Dunkeld with hungry bellies, first stop was of course Lunch, which for some was a bowl of piping hot homemade stovies, whilst others had some lovely soup’n’sarney deals that were to be had. The car park by the tourist information centre was also a chance to pick up the last vital parts for the treasure hunt and to start thinking about the spell authoring!

Stage 3: A Celtic Canter to the Crannog. Roaming through the wilderness on the final leg of the journey enjoying the peacefulness of the wild Perthshire views, except for the gentle roaring of the 11 mini’s driving along the ever darkening country roads. Even the CB’ers were enjoying this with a relaxing game of Eye Spy.

Final Destination: The Crannog Centre on Loch Tay. Our final stop of the day where costumes were judged and winners announced for the winning Treasure Hunt. We had a wee tour of very dark and chilly Crannog (wouldn’t have fancied in the old days!) and then out into the shop where the winners of the best fancy dress was awarded to the three wee kids; two witches & a pirate, well done to you all.

Thanks to the Mini Clan Wizard™ who made this a perfect Halloweenie day!

Thanks also to everyone who dressed up and made the day extra special.

Wonder where it will be next year …….. Stevie
